Development of a 2-storey villa, with a basement, in northern Malta. The project is defined by complex architectural massing that is achieved by a play in structural geometry. The solution includes hanging parts of the first floor slab from the roof structure and introducing an eccentrically located X-shaped column at ground floor to support a cantilevering box structure at first floor which in turn partly overlies an external swimming pool. Project is currently under construction. Konrad directed the structural engineering team whilst working at Arup.
