Konrad Xuereb
Founding director
Refurbishment of an early 20th Century mansion house to accommodate an open-plan architectural layout. The works included reconfiguring the existing ground floor structure, removing external load bearing walls to allow a full width conservatory and rearranging the first floor structure to introduce a double height volume in the entrance reception hall. This included a double height glazed facade and a feature staircase. Konrad directed the structural engineering design whilst at Arup.
