Multi-storey residential development comprising three D-shaped blocks with interconnecting double storey basement that step in height between four and seven storeys to accommodate 450 apartments. The project included retaining a Grade 2 listed façade and introducing an elegant 25m stayed bridge linking the courtyards of two of the main buildings. The structural layout was based on a predominantly radial grid and consisted of a RC frame with post-tensioned slabs. Konrad was project structural engineer whilst working at Alan Baxter & Associates and led the design of two of the blocks, including the stayed bridge and the retained facade.
