Competition entry for a mobile pavilion. The designs drew inspiration from a butterfly’s anatomy and consisted of twenty-two moveable structural arms either side of a stiff central spine. These could adapt into multiple configurations to create different spatial arrangements depending on the nature of the exhibition. Konrad directed the engineering designs whilst working at Arup.
