A sensitive refurbishment of a 10-storey 1960’s reinforced concrete frame, with 3-storey basement, into commercial development. The works included reconfiguration of the existing reinforced concrete stabilising cores and extending the existing 4-storey annex building by two floors. Another key challenge entailed assessing the existing reinforced concrete raft under the building to accommodate the reconfigured loads.
