New build residential development varying in height between 5 and 7-storeys, and located in a tight site. The architectural proposals included cantilevering massing above first floor on one of the elevations. This was accommodated by providing elongated reinforced concrete columns with the resolved horizontal forces being withstood by the stabilising structural core. Konrad led the structural engineer team whilst working at Alan Baxter & Associates.
