A state of the art theatre consisting of a reinforced concrete frame and long span steel beams spanning onto storey deep steel trusses, and a basement in difficult ground conditions. The project included intricate acoustic isolation between auditoria and challenging constraints to achieve a passively ventilated auditorium. Konrad led the structural engineering design team whilst at Alan Baxter & Associates.
Winner of 2009 RIBA White Rose Award and 2010 RIBA (Yorkshire) Award.
