Landmark pedestrian bridge in Terni, located 100 km north east of Rome, to regenerate the residential area north of the station and provide station improvements for fast train links to Rome.
The 180m cable-stayed bridge structure consists of a 60m high steel mast in the shape of an inverted tripod with an arrangement of cable stays supporting the steel deck below.
A section of the bridge is designed as structurally independent to allow its future removal and relocation in an identified location close to the station to accommodate future expansion of the station and urban sprawl.
